I’m working on revamping every Kore New Media websites. I’ve been experimenting with WordPress as a platform for webdesign and have learned quite a bit about using it and will be making decisions accordingly. I will likely not be using WP in this revision, instead good ‘ol Photoshop and Dreamweaver, my constant friends.

Great news and terrible news.

Terrible news: The host that had a family member that was in serious condition… lost the family member. It is truely a sad time here at Kore New Media.

Great news: Walt Snider’s father is recovering nicely and is expected to up and around by May.

We are still scheduled to return Monday, April 19, 2010.

Walt and Zac are working on a new version of Kore News, hopefully to be delivered next week!

On September 20, Kore Commentary 9 will come out. This month, we watch Airplane (Don’t Call Me Shirley! Edition).

If you already have the DVD, awesome, we’ll see you there, but if you don’t, you can buy it from Amazon and have it in time for the realease!

We’re adding advertising from two sources:

1. GoDaddy.com: We’re getting a coupon code to save you guys money.
2. Google AdSense: Ads are being injected in to the podcast feeds… these will just be text and maybe images.

If we can start gaining revenue from publishing our podcasts, we can start providing you more shows and hopefully most of them in video!

Update April 8, 2010: We’ve decided not to go forward with GoDaddy advertising.

Kore RPG 26 is in queue and will be released September 2!

Scott Langston’s busy schedule prevented him from recording as often as we’d like, so he’s left The Kore.

We finished recording Kore RPG’s Myr Campaign Book One earlier this week and Walt Snider is hard at work getting shows edited on a more regular schedule so there hopefully won’t be any more lapse in the schedule… hopefully!

We ended on recording episode 43, so there’s a little shy of 20 to edit and put up.

Just to keep you on the edge of your seat, as you should be, one of the characters dies in #42. Seriously. Are we going to tell you who it is? Of course not!
